But, muh injuries, muh 40-17!
That mercy kneel at the end really had to hurt. How humiliating.

All the Georgia fans had so much hope and dreams....they had told Albarn for 5+ weeks that when a game really mattered (like the SECCG), they were not to be defeated. They told Oklahoma that the SEC ruled college football and they ruled the SEC after their SEC championship. Hell, Bama was just a speed bump...those losers could not even beat Awbarn.
Georgia had home field, home uniforms, and the whole Country on their side. Afterall, who would not love a team who had not won a NC in 38 long years.....particularly against Bama who collects NC's like Georgia fans collect STDs.
Georgia basically dominated and led the whole game. The game and NC was going to belong to Georgia. That is until an inexperienced freshman QB threw a walkoff TD pass to shatter all the hopes and dreams of the long-suffering Georgia fans.
And all was right in the world again as King Saban and THE MIGHTY CRIMSON TIDE returned to glory.
Wouldn't it be great to go back and live the NC night all over again? I think I am going to watch the replay tonight for the 40th time.

Seems you don't have a lot going in your life that you're proud about, outside of college football.

Oh, yikes... Looks like I was correct. Flip them patties good tomorrow!

I think you’re giving him too much credit.
He still lives at home with his disabled parents and mooches off of their government checks.
The only thing positive in his life is our football team.
I bet the loser has never stepped foot in Tuscaloosa either.

Been waiting for someone to start the hate thread. Hey Auburn, how are those campus trees?

It was a really fun day and game. I would relive it again. The feeling that we actually might win a championship (for 3 quarters) and the feeling of knowing we're finally on the right path, and the feeling that it's just the beginning, which came two years earlier than expected, is overall a positive feeling.
Losing the game hurt for a bit but there was still so much for which to be excited and hopeful.
Still is.

Only one person in this image has a ring. The other didn’t play in the early 80s and is therefore out of luck. Can you spot the difference?

What grade were you in the last time Auburn won in Athens? Were you alive the last time Auburn had back to back 10 win seasons? Sorry Gus got your hopes up last year, but Auburn is a 7-8 win/ year team. Good news is Auburn won’t have to play UCF again this year.
