Line went up this AM, has LSU as two touchdown favorites. Seems about right to me.

I'll be surprised if we lose by less than 30. Why are people acting like we have a shot just because Bama just beat them? This Bama team is probably the best team in college football history.

That isn't the real reason why anyone has even a hint of optimism about the game.

LSU is ranked 100th in total offense, 64th in Rushing and 104th in Passing. Arkansas is 81st in Total Defense, 59th in rushing and 104th in passing.

Our weakest link is our secondary. Burrow isn't a QB that is going to light a secondary up on his own. If Arkansas can have success stopping the run, it will most likely be a low scoring game.

FTR, I don't think Arkansas wins but the reason some have hope is because of the LSU offense. Not what they did against Bama but their numbers on the year are bad as well. Having said all of that, the defense could play well and only allow 20. We might still lose by 14 because their defense isn't going to be easy to move the ball against.

I don't know why anyone would assume we could stop the run against LSU when we couldn't stop it against fricking Vandy.

Eta: Vandy's rush offense is 84th for the record.

My thought is LSU’s gonna be a little more predictable than Vandy. Shurmur is a way better passer than Burrow and LSU’s playcalling/ gameplanning is suspect at best.

LSU hasn’t thrown for a TD or over 200 yards in their last 4 games. Also Greenlaw got hurt in the Vandy game.

We’ll sell out against the run and if we have a healthy Greenlaw I think that gives us hope. Not saying we win, just a legitimate shot

Vandy also have a better passing game which means it is more of a threat than LSU. I'm not saying we are going to stop the run game because our run defense is good. I think there is a decent chance if we keep LSU one dimensional and that is why we have success.

We also have have the bye week factor that has helped in that past. They are coming off their toughest game and we are coming off a bye.

I have no confidence that we can beat anybody. With that said, if we happen to win, tRant will be nothing short of glorious.

Coming off a bye week, I expect the team to start fast. The defense had hit a wall the last few weeks and needed rest.

Why do fans of this team still think what either team looks like coming into the game means anything when these two play? LSU is the same formula they were under Miles. All defense no offense. Definitely no offense through the air. Truth be told LSU is a better matchup for us than Ole Miss was. And no team is going to come out playing 100% after getting beat 29-0 in their super bowl at home. We've had two weeks to prepare for a deflated LSU team. It's winnable.

We'll probably get smashed.
There was always a let down after the Bama loss when Les was there. Not such much with ED O. He knew they had no shot.
Hell they even tried to kick a field goal for a moral victory.
