He was not given the keys to a lambo....

He built, and has impeccably maintained the lambo. He was given the keys to ..... i dunno...something reliable, but that had been incredibly mismanaged and not maintained for years.

He deserves COY as much as any of those other guys...but at this point, I'd go Stoops. His players, his results. O has been great, but you could argue that LSU was underrated. Mullen will have his day soon.

You think a guy deserves COY when he has a team of 5* talent at every position, and has played (up until now) a schedule of unranked teams? How does that make him a great coach? He is SUPPOSED to win with that talent! That's like saying a coach of an NFL team is the best ever because he only plays high school teams and wins every week. Saban could sit on the sideline, under an tiki hut, sipping banana daiquiris thru the entire game, and the result would be the same. This weeks game will be their 1st real test of this season. That being said, LSU is still at a huge disadvantage, talent-wise.
