Mecole? Reed? Cleveland? Clark? Anyone else? Would love if they all come back but I’d assume Mecole is likely gone. Could see the other 3 returning. Thoughts?

I dont think Mecole would leave. Not really the prototypical WR with his size.
I could see Elijah leaving though. Especially if he continues to play well. Wouldnt blame him either.

Holyfield leaving early, with really only this year to tout, seems odd to me. Especially, and this is pure speculation, since his family financial situation should be better than most football players'.

I don’t think Holyfield would leave early but I could be wrong. I wonder if Rodrigo would consider leaving early especially if he gets All American?

thats a good point, but as a RB it makes sense to get to the NFL as soon as possible. I think he would impress at the combine, and could be a 3-5 rounder. Even if he comes back idk if his draft stock will improve that much.

Don't see any one of them leaving unless they screw up in school.
I thought maybe Clark before the season but he's taken
a step back this year IMO.
No reason to leave unless you're projected as 1st or 2nd rounder and all listed will improve their draft status if they stick around.

Reed, perhaps. Clark was thought to be a candidate to leave early before the season started but he’s been very inconsistent this season. I don’t see Hardman being drafted highly but I also don’t see him improving his draft stock much if he comes back. Cleveland will be back; RS Sophomore with less than a full season of experience at a position that generally isn’t a premium in the draft. Holyfield will probably be back, he’s shown flashes but there really isn’t much film on him.
You’re also dealing with young men and the prospect of big paydays. Any of them could make the jump, but I don’t think any of them would be wise to do so at this point. Next year you’ll start to see guys like Thomas, perhaps Cleveland, and maybe Swift leaving early and it will continue to get more frequent if our recruiting classes continue to remain in the top 5.

I don’t see any underclassman leaving early. Mecole needs to add 10 pounds to be effective at the next level. Cleveland and Reed would likely be 4th-5th round picks, doesn’t make sense. As for Clark, the DL is stacked in the 2019 draft. He’d be a fool to join that crop. The 2020 class is weaker on the interior DL, so he has a chance to move up to a 2nd rounder with a strong senior season.

I cant remember a kicker leaving early to save my life, and most kickers typically aren't drafted anyways unless you are Sebastian Janokowski and Hot Rod is good but he isn't on that level. Plus the Roberto Aguyo situation probably makes some teams leery of drafting a kicker early.

I agree, but the Holyfields aren't as well off as you would think. They filed, I think for bankruptcy several years ago, and if you Google "Evander Holyfield net worth" it says he is worth $500,000. Seems like he had a manager or somebody defraud him in an investment scheme or something.
