i know it was just the Aggies but that was a good win. We might just get to 8wins now. Outside of the end of first half herp derping it,

It was a good win....appears as if Fitz showed up and so did the receivers. A&M is not a bad team either, though their homers are grousing about Jimbo not performing miracles in his first year. Let's face it, A&M is to Texas as Moo U is to Ole Miss. I like the Aggies and I am glad the Dawgs won this one...next year at A&M should be a real challenge.

Great win.
Really happy that at least for a game Fitz turned it around. Maybe this will break him out of his funk and our offense can flow.
I think Coach Joe really needed this as well and he delivered.
Not enough can be said about the Defense --- they have played incredible all year long.

This season is a waste. An 8 or 9 win season does nothing for me. Woo hoo we defeated over hyped Auburn and A&M. Big whoop.
We wasted our best defense of all time with a shittastic offense. Any result will only make me madder.
And yes that Florida game is a big reason where we are.
Beating a shitty Ole Miss team isn't an accomplishment either. That game does nothing for me either. But Moorhead will probably find a way to lose that one too so who cares.
And no this season doesn't excite me about the future at all because we are only going to regress next year. We probably won't make a bowl.

Big game Dan would likely have had the same record. Might’ve beaten Florida at home if McElwain we’re still coaching them. He would’ve crapped his pants at Kentucky and LSU just like he always did when we faced a team that could match our physicalness on the road. That’s why he was willing to jump to UT last year. He knew ramming the qb up the middle only gets you so far and the conversation would be why did he waste that talent this year if he had stayed. Then he’d have been locked in for another 2-3 years having to reprove himself.

great win. If you'd never heard of Nick Fitzgerald and just watched the one play to guidry....his movement, scramble, and then pass to Guidry for 84 yards you would think he might be the next Aaron Rodgers. We have a great coaching staff a great defense and an offense that is one dimensional and not on the same planet as our defense regardless of who is coaching them. This is an 8-4 team maybe a 10-2 team if nick saban is coaching them. Its going to be a fun ride. Mississippi is stacked with defensive recruits and has been that way for a while. If Joe can recruit better on offense than big game Dan we will be in contention.

Aight I've calmed down a bit. Yeah Cdawg was right in another thread. I had a bit of a drink last night....
My feelings would've been different if State hadn't blown the Florida game. Yeah Kentucky and LSU have solid teams and I don't think State wins with Mullen there. But blowing the Florida game should sit with Moorhead forever. And I know I along with most of the State fans I know will not get over losing that game. That was the goal for the season.

If anything you should be mad at Mullen not Moorhead.
I don’t see a 9-4 season as a waste. Top 25 finish and bowl win. Most importantly because it won’t hurt recruiting.
Moorhead is trying to install a complicated scheme that none of our players have ever done. It’s his style and scheme. Simply put we don’t have the right style QB or receivers to really work.
Fitz isn’t a world beater. He is a solid QB but he ain’t Dak Prescott. He did not progress as expected.
We got unlucky having to get a whole new coaching staff and having a loaded schedule. The past few years UF and UK sucked. But not this year. It is what it is. But I’m not going to bail on Moorhead give the guy time to get his players in. The team has improved a lot since the UK game
