This just makes Jalen that much more impressive to me. I mean holy shite he has to be a good guy to not be influenced by a father with that kind of outlook.

I think this will cut down the 60/40 he is coming back talk. If his dad is still bitter I see no way he returns. Will pull for Jalen whatever he decides though

You think he hasn’t been? Have we forgotten so quickly the disastrous press statement and then the closed door locker room meeting? I haven’t. You had continued actions and statements by mom and dad all year showing the environment he was brought up in, followed by these two incidents spoke volumes.

What is the more likely scenario for his non-controversial behavior since then: Nick called him into the office and said, “One more damned peep out of you and your locker is cleaned out quicker than Maurice Smith’s” or, Jalen has some sort of Road to Damascus moment and completely turns over a new leaf? If he did have some sort of epiphany I would think he would publicly acknowledge it. And do you think his brother made these statements in a vacuum without getting some sort of negative input from Jalen? Do you think if Jalen had been telling his brother, “I’m happy. All’s good” that tweet would have been made?

I personally hope Jalen transfers after the season. If he doesn’t, I’m betting we get more drama from the Hurts camp.
