Supposedly Coach Moorhead is a smart, hard-working guy... but some of his statements baffle me, like this:
quote:
Moorhead remained steadfast in his claim that Hill’s six carries at halftime were a reasonable amount.
Aside from Fitz when he's running well, is not Hill our best playmaker on offense? Don't we want to be trying to get the ball in his hands a lot more?
I don't mind losing (I don't like it) but it's how inept we've looked on offense that has me irritated.

If I may... again... LOL.
1- I think he was saying he was on pace prior to a lower body injury.
2- Hill is not your best back. That goes against Moorhead and a lot of fans, but he's horrible at pass blocking. And I mean horrible. He has been personally responsible for Fitz getting his clock cleaned many times. And here is the thing about it. You can not alternate Williams in for only pass protection. Defenses will know and defend accordingly.
Willams was a 1000+ yard back. He ran WELL against us.
3- Right now, I'm speechless on Moorhead. I know when he gets his QB in, MS ST will move forward again. BUT he may cost MS St a few games every year by not adjusting.
