I think they are probably setting some other plays up by showing these early. The moment of hesitation a DB has because he's worried about Jalen reversing to throw may open a lane for Harris, Harris, Jacobs & Co to cut through, could be enough for a TD.

LSU will win the time of possession battle. But, with our offense that may not be an indicator of anything significant.

The Jalen packages?

Honestly? I think it’s another head scratching attempt to keep a really bad football player involved in the game plan just because Saban probably has a real close relationship with him and likes him a lot.

It’s a business, and the best players should play.

- No, I don’t want him lined up at QB for any amount of snaps, because Tua is better.

- No, I don’t want him lined up at WR for any amount of snaps, because Jeudy, Ruggs, Waddle, Smith are better.

- No, I don’t want him lined up at RB for any amount of snaps, because Najee, Damien, Robinson, Jacobs are better.

I want his arse on the sidelines just like any other player who isn’t skillled enough to make the rotation.

DeLong just lost his punting job. But, we were 7-0 with DeLong as the starting punter. I don’t see Saban drawing up extra plays to keep DeLong involved somehow.

Hurts should be treated the same. You got jumped on the depth chart? Ok..well... there’s the bench over there...
