Yea they do. Chapman played on a torn ACL. We had a punter play a season with one. Jessie Williams screwed his during the SEC championship and came out for a couple of series and then went back. Hell, Saint, our very own Air Force hero joined the military with a torn acl

And, none of those guys is Tua. A lineman with a torn ACL is different because the movements they need their bodies to complete are different than those of a dual threat QB.

So one minute you say the medical staff won't let players walk around after a torn ACL and now you're moving the target by saying they won't let Tua do it because it's different. You can't have it both ways

And there are different grades of tears. The ACL is a very thick ligament and people can have small tears of it and be fine. I really dont think its ACL, but its possible. Meniscus is much more likely and its easier to tear. The way he pulled up in the game is much more characteristic of meniscus injury too, because when it tears, the torn portion can flip into and out of the joint space, and when it flips into the joint it causes the knee to lock up and can be very painful.
