With a defensive gauntlet of LSU, Florida, UK, and Auburn...do you think Georgia will be able to keep putting up good numbers during this stretch?
I think if they manage to get through this stretch without having an off night on offense, they'll earn my respect. Will be exciting to watch.

Their Oline has to be a big worry I'd suspect. They have skill all over the field of course but no way they aren't a little worried about the trenches

We will be starting 3 freshmen on the OL in maybe all of these games. If we can still do wel with that, I would worry about facing uga in 2019 and beyond.

Agreed. If they put up good numbers during this stretch, Georgia because a real threat to be Bama of the east legitimately.

my thoughts are that Chaney is an average OC at best.

Considering they’re two starting guards are out if I read correctly I don’t think they escape BR with a win. I think this is an ugly game with LSU pulling out the win.

He's a better OC than you a are a poster.

Chaney is actually calling some good games this year. Much better than last year, when 1st down was always a run.

Starting 3 freshmen is worrisome. Luckily they were all top 50 in the nation. Regarding Mays and HIll (true freshmen) at tackle. Both of those guys have had a two practice camps as they were early enrollees. One thing that is comforting, to get those spots they had to beat out Kendall Baker who started 14 of our 15 games at LT last year. So it's not necessarily a depth issue.

They are at guard not tackle

Georgia wins big...they can't lose!!!

It’s not they’re ability to block that’s the concern it’s missing assignments and reads because you have no experience. I think Aranda dials up some different blitz packages to cause confusion.

Ben Cleveland (RG) is definitely out, and we will know more today about Solomon Kindley. Cade mays filled in at RG this past Saturday and played well, but he is a true freshman, so, who knows how he will do against a very good LSU DLine. If Kindley is unavailable, it might be Trey Hill, another true freshman filling in there. (Kendall Baker is another possibility) It's not going to be easy, and could bee a brutal stretch.

That had more to do with Fromm being a freshman, needing the play action, and getting ahead in the chains than it did anything last season. I thought it was wise to be so run first. It helped Fromm mature and took much of the burden off of him.
Also, it didn't hurt UGA's defense was an excellent, mature group last season. Punting wasn't a bad thing at all.

It will be a daunting atmosphere. Bu as I said earlier, he's not starting because we have no one else. He's starting because he's pretty good. A guy that started 14 games at guard on the SEC championship team and national runner up is on the bench.

That's why I said this:

He is a freshman and he will make mistakes, but he is good.

Said Saban prior to 2018. Now he sees you really can have it all.
Screw punting as a strategy. I want to see an offense and defense that can blow those doors off.

So was Baker, my mistake. He's listed as Wilson's backup this year but played LG last year. Obviously LT was manned by our first round pick.

Our offense was one of the best in the country in per play average last year. This year we've punted it 18 times. Bama has punted it 15. We were 12th in the conference at punts per game last year at 3.
