This is the problem with the word. It's either not okay for anyone to say the word or it is okay for everyone to say the word. You cannot have it both ways.
However, as a representative of UGA Athletics, he should know he is held to a higher standard than the general public.

It's simple really.
You can refer to yourself as an fool and there is nothing offensive about your comment.
If I should call you a fool, I am committing an offense against you.
People should stay away from offending others gratuitously but self-deprecation is allowed.
