And then he got paid. He's been working his whole life to sign that contract. When money is the motivation it can be hard to keep pushing after getting rich over night.

He is one of those guys that is good at everything, but great at nothing.
He's particularly weak as a route runner, and has been the subject of constant miscommunication with Vikings QBs when the WR is expected to make a sight adjustment based on the coverage they both see coming out of the huddle.
He's finally picking up the playbook, and his blocking effort is better, so he's getting more time this year. There's a bump in his productivity accordingly, but it isn't where it should be.
