When the media then comes screaming, just make up something about solidarity with the rebels in take-your-pick Middle Eastern country, or Ukraine or even go back to Nicaragua and pretend to be on the side of the commies.
Then just go back to being the Bulldogs after a couple of years.

I like the big picture idea, but they need to go all-in with the flags and Col Reb on the field. When the media asks about it, their response is “Because we have balls and the school at Oxford doesn’t.”
