I never and will never understand the whole “sidewalk fan” bullshite. It’s makes zero difference if someone actually attended the school or not. If only people that went to the schools could root for that team then college football would die. It makes no sense at all. I know many of people that never attended LSU but are the biggest diehard fans that are season ticket holders every year.

This I agree with as I live outside the state and at times find it humorous that UA alum that are big football fans feel they are above those that did not attend. In NC there are 2 alumni associations. The majority in both never attended UA and with a good protion actually from the state. As with the UA Alumni Assoc. you do not have to be an alumni.

I have probably attended more UA games then the majority of UA fans I have met in person. And to be honest the majority of UA fans I have met that are the nicest are the ones from AL that did not attend. Here in NC and other places some of the friendliest people I have met but some of the alum I have met during the Saban era are the worst especially with trash talking.
