Yuracheck touchdown club speech

The big topic today in tCapital city was how can ChexMex improve the gameday experience.

Most callers agree that its the worst gameday atmosphere in the SEC.

Glad someone asked ChexMex about it at the LRTD club.

Don't you think Kiffin probably thinks he is too big for this program? I still think he would have been gone with the first higher profile offer. Could have gotten behind him while he was here though. Probably the only way we would have beaten Alabama in the next decade though.

Once the decision has been made, something like that would be in the "con" column. You have to hire a replacement, and if you go to cutting heads after 3 games, you won't hire better than you had unless a miracle happens.

Agreed. But the job right now is to tamp down the lunatics who think it's a good idea to start firing coaches 3 games in. Those are program changing decisions, and almost never for the better.

If I were the AD, I would be telling the coach that the next time any player has something to say about unhappy fans voicing their displeasure over the shitshow to date, it better be to apologize to those fans, or the coach will be running bleachers 'til he pukes.

I think we could have hired Kiffin, I just don't think we would have kept him for more than 5 minutes after a higher profile program came calling. That's probably true of most of the hires we could make for the football program, but you can look in Kiffin's eyes and see the thought that almost everyone and everything is beneath him. I guess I just don't like him.
