Auburn should've taken care of business well before questionable calls got in the way. No beef here.

I really thought Gus was about to redeem for last year. Just a couple of not great throws by Stidham late or he would have.

Yes. Auburn recovered the ball. Danielson and Nessler were too cought up in the early whistle to follow the play.

Wow. What a miss by those guys. That's really pathetic.

Honestly, I was so juiced up on adrenaline that I didn't see that. But someone on the broadcast sure as hell should have noticed that and opined that was the reason it wasn't being reviewed, rather than let fans continue believing we got "screwed" out of a turnover.

and I really haven't seen that many Auburn fans complain about that particular call, anyway. Certainly not to the level of their radio guy's histrionics

Still looks like pretty good coverage to me.

Don't take that as a complaint. Calls like holding or pass interference could be called on almost every play and we had pushed the limit previously so they were looking for it. The were just looking really hard.

It wasn't reviewed because the ref blew his whistle too quickly. Since the whistle blew, the fumble and recovery by either team was not reviewable.

Would have/should have but it doesn't matter because we didn't. LSU won that game fair and square.

In that second quarter Auburn flipped the momentum and kept it in the third. LSU won the first and fourth. It was that close and the score reflected it. Late in the fourth, the Auburn secondary was gassed. They held on to receivers to avoid getting burned on big plays. 15 yards for a penalty is better than 25 for a completion.

Absolutely...as frustrating as it was to watch.

LSU has the ball trying to make 17-0 when they called a block below the waist on a big screen play. Defender was never even touched. There were a lot of bad calls in this game, but this is the first time it went LSUs way in Auburn in recent history.

Our grab got called, not Greedy's on our last drive. Affected the end of the game.

The worst PI of the game was when Auburn tackled the LSU guy in the endzone which forced an LSU FG in the 3rd quarter. No one even talks about that one.

The play you were talking about with Greedy was more holding and wasn’t nearly as egregious as the other plays.

While I don't agree with the "history" part, I do agree bad calls happen. You guys overcame them. We didnt.

Say what you want, but it's true. Even the announcers said he got away with it. Disagree agree all you want.

And two PI's were missed on LSU's 3rd Q drive that resulted in a FG.

One where he completely pushed our guy OOB

AU defenders were literally holding all night long

Steve,

We had 111 yards in penalties. It's not like the refs tried to give us the win.

Ya but the no calls and some of the calls were horrible. Inconsistent to say the least. They let the db’s get away with it on some but didn’t on others. And imo that was a fumble early in the game and it wasn’t reviewed. He caught it and took two steps.
