I thought Mizzou was pretty good last year. I get that they got better as the season went on, but I didn't remember that they lost to Purdue at home by such a wide margin.

Did you guys have a bunch of players out?

35-3

Their defense sucks balls and Lock is constantly having to play from behind.

Lock is SEC's version of Stafford with Lions

They were awful until the second half of their game against Auburn. After that, they played much better.

This, we were Tennessee bad to start last year. Pretty amazing to have that type of turn around and we look even better to start this year.

I have a buddy who is a Purdue fan and he thinks they won't win another game. So I started looking into it and I just didn't remember it being so lopsided. Is that sufficient or are you just being a little bitch?

Thank you for only paying attention to half our season last year.

As JQ said we were awful for the first 4 games last year. Not just purdue, but any p5 team, Rutgers, Illinois, Oregon state would have beaten us. We were vulnerable, we were scared, but we found god. And with god, we got better.

Hahaha, I only remember you guys running up and down the field all game long on Florida. I get that we were garbage, but you still looked good to me.

Purdue fans were just as shocked as we were last year. I don't think I've ever seen a Mizzou game at home where we are 14 point favorites and we end up losing 35-3. That was the game the Mizzou fans really started to turn on Odom. The entire stadium was booing the team in the 3rd Qtr. It was bad.

Here is a piece of an article that the Purdue beat writer wrote about last years match-up a few days ago.
quote:

There’s nothing we can do about the first two games, and I hope the team itself is as frustrated as I am. Missouri is still very much a winnable game. This is a team we completely dominated on their own field last year, which was shocking. Purdue had not beaten a team not named Illinois on the road since 2012. It hadn’t won a Power 5 non-conference road game since 2005. We hadn’t beaten ANYONE at the FBS, home or away, by 32 points since Eastern Michigan in 2012. If you make that qualifier a Power 5 conference team you have to look back to the 2008 bloodletting against Indiana in Joe Tiller’s final game when we destroyed Indiana 62-10.

That was the good mizzou..

Bad mizzou = missouri state, usc, purdue, auburn.

Good mizzou = everyone else

Jeff Brohm just like Petrino is really good at getting his guys hyped up to play in big games. If they start smacking someone around they'll keep smacking someone around. Once they get hit back they fold like a deck of cards. Missouri didn't know if they were allowed to hit back.

In summation: Mizzou was a dumpster fire. Odom's coaching ability was like a retard humping a door knob.

Against Purdue: Purdue spent the majority of its time on defense with 6 men in the box, and dared Mizzou to beat them with the run. Mizzou couldn't. Even worse, Mizzou was even more awful through the air. No imagination, no TE's, Hall injured - done.

This year - payback time.

We sucked.

Our defense was in disarray. I don’t just mean on the field either. Barry was learning how to run a program in every aspect and his friend/defensive coordinator almost got him fired in year 2.

True, lost in all this is a p5 team that went bowling.
