For some reason a lot of college fans around the country get upset when we refer to ourselves as the "Texas Aggies" instead of just "Texas A&M Aggies." I don't know why that is, but I enjoy their consternation

Wow. I didn’t even know that. On my college car I had a decal with ol sarge standing atop a block Texas Aggies script. My favorite Aggie logo of all time.

wtf. i didn't know this either.
we the fightin' texas aggies though. smh.
ETA: i will now do my best to only refer to a&m as the texas aggies from here on out.
