When it comes to SEC rivalries, I'm about as cautious as anybody can be, but I'm not that worried about Tennessee (yet). They have a first time head coach, first time DC, OC whose only OC experience was in G5 with a head coach who designed the offense. They'll run new schemes on both sides of the ball.

As for personnel, they don't have the right guys to run an effective 3-4 defense IMO, OLB are a big question. Their DL depth is bad. As far as I can tell, nearly every OL starter is either a transfer, new starter, or playing a different position from last year (possible exception Drew Richmond at RT). They've been shuffling OL around all off-season and during camp to find a fit. Starting TE is a new JUCO. RB's are a mediocre group, at least by UGA standards. And their QB, probably Guarantano, suffered from serious indecision in the pocket last season, although he could obviously improve if he gets decent protection. WR (and maybe ILB but in a new scheme) is basically their only stable position from last year, and that group's quality is still questionable because of the bad QB/OL play in 2017.

Pruitt maybe a better coach than Butch, but he has a big task to make this team competitive in the SEC this season. But he did get a lucky draw with overrated (IMO) one dimensional WVU for the opener followed by two super cupcakes to try and iron out the wrinkles.
