If he hadn't come in behind Thurman Thomas, causing the coaches to not really understand what they had, he'd have done it more than one year.

Hate to say it but TD is right. Had a great season. The best ever. But best ever college football running back of all time? Maybe but hard to judge on one monster season.

Now, NFL? I loved Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton and a few others but in my mind there is no question that Sanders was the best ever *in the NFL*.
