Keep in mind, I think being the “landsharks” is alright, but y’all could have done better on that mascot. That thing is ugly.
I'm not sure how we could have done a mascot around Chucky... We have a bust of him in the South Endzone that the team runs out of.
But yeah, the mascot is lame. I think the best question is why do we even have to have one? I really don't see little kids warming up to a weird shark looking thing roaming the sideline.
The best thing the admin could have done, when they got rid of Col Reb was to go with a revolutionary soldier looking guy, called him Rebel, and be done with it years ago. But, it is what it is...landsharkbearrebels.

I was just referring to naming him “Chucky” but Quicksilver pointed out the reason for naming him “Tony”.
I agree with the soldier thing. I don’t necessarily think “landsharks” are a bad mascot, just this particular one doesn’t appear to be well though out.
Wonder how long before y’all are changing mascots again....
