I get it and agree.
As a non-rebel, I would think y'all need to keep the mascot fight going as long as possible. When the mascot is settled the powers that be are going after "ole miss". Everybody says it will never happen, but that's not how it looks from the outside looking in

Probably... and like I said, due to our past there will always be the elephant in the room that we have to address (slavery/race).
However when I close my eyes and think of "Ole Miss" it's script letters on a helmet or sign. Not an AA female slave. I am aware that certain symbols mean different things depending on experiences or what's taught to young individuals in their formative years.
