I realized today how weird it is how many of us keep coming back to the forum for years despite how hostile it is. We don’t need this sort of negativity in our lives without reason.
So who are you? Why are you here? Why do you keep coming back?
For me? I am a Louisiana born baw who went to Texas A&M who otherwise loves helping people make good technology purchases, making cold pressed green juice, and his boxer dog.
I came to the forum because A&M to the SEC was a big deal to me personally because my family is still in SEC country, and I wanted to learn more about the conference.
I stay because I genuinely like some of the people here and sometimes it’s fun to think of new angles on a SEC situation that can be worked into the hostile dynamic of this forum.
Now your turn.

It allows us to release our inner, repressed hostility without being arrested. Just banned.

I come for the indepth football analysis and thoughtful, kind repose from the normal day to day vitriolic phraseology we see far too often on social media these days.

My name is Brandon, I'm from Blythewood SC, born and raised! Go Bengals!
Um, I work at the airport as a baggage handler. I attended two years at Midlands Tech and then did a year at Coastal but didn't finish (sorry for partying
).
I'm married to the love of my life, Bruce, and began posting here after migrating from Cockytalk.
I love this place and all of you Ranters!

Hi, I'm Bryan. My girlfriend is a borderline psychotic A&M fan. This place is tame in comparison.
But the sex is good.
I'm addicted to SEC sports.

Grew up non SEC. Live south of Champaign, IL.
Was in the military for 11 years and 3 of those years I was a recruiter in NWA. While working 100+ hrs/week, I was stuck listening to 99.7/104.3 iirc which is sports talk with Bo. I remember the day Petrino crashed his bike. Started following, and learning about the Razorbacks.
I still feel like an outcast sometimes because I'm not an Alum, which really doesn't matter in the long run. It doesn't define someone's love for a program. Razorbacks are huge, and hard to not follow when living in the State.
Currently, I live back in Illinois, I use veterans benefits and attend school full time. I've busted my arse the last two semesters to finish my associates, and I start at EIU in the fall. This was a huge goal because Arkansas opens the season with EIU.
I started out on another forum, but enjoy the fans on here. I might seem like an arse to most, but I'm pretty chill. I was lurking on here before I joined but have been on here for awhile. I enjoy this website and all that I have been a part of.

That maybe a little, tbh

But, lots of funny folks here, like really funny and I like to laugh. I also like to be silly or goofy or both and this is a good place for that.
And oh yeah, I love sports, always have and always loved my hogs and we are a premier member of the sec so... and along with that, I get the latest gossip and news here - quicker than I would otherwise.

I come for the MSB, which apparently the only place "legitimate" discussions are held.

My name is John, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day looking at stupid arse pictures. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any pussy? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level.

I'm a Mississippi State fan in Bammer country. Truth be told I still favor Alabama a bit but that's due to some family ties. I just love to see the reactions of different stories around the SEC and have an outlet to share my own thoughts and ideas.

I'm a UK and SEC football fan and I come here to get away from the non-stop basketball buzz of most other UK fans. It's refreshing to actually be in a forum where football is first and foremost.
I don't think it's hostile, though. I've got a thick skin and insults roll off like water on a duck's back. It's fun to watch thin-skin people melt, too.
