Lol, if anything in coaching it's with SOS on his staff in that other league.

Damn.

Gotta figure that goes far in SC though.

Wonder what this private business is. Any idea?

I think I heard from someone that he was set to make $65,000 at Furman. Not sure why that number jumps out, but it does.

Anyone know what he will be doing? I have a guess, and I called to confirm, but haven't heard back.

I don't know if his wife works, but I'd imagine $50k isn't much when you have kids.

Kids seem to love Garcia, tho. He still has that I-don't-give-a-shite aura to him. And his tweets rival Lane Kiffin's in the "Holy shite! Did he really just say that?!" department.

Maybe not, but I figure he should still have a couple of million from his brief NFL career.

Not sure what his wife does, but I figured that + their two salaries could be enough to stay into coaching as he climbs up the ladder for better pay.

But alas, it's his life.

Don't quote me on this. When I asked this is what I was told and I looked and sure enough .... but I've got a much better, much much closer, source I'm waiting to hear back from.

Straight from the horse's mouth you might say.

Maybe he’s looking for work life balance.

Especially with a kid at home .

Safe to say it’s tougher for college football coaches then guys selling security systems

Gives up college coaching to sell security systems? Well, we are all free to make our own choices. Best of luck to him.

If he wants a more stable home life, then he probably made the right choice.

There is big money in Security these days. A lot of anxiety and fear out there.

Big money.

I'm still not sure this is absolutely what it is though. But I will find out. It's something where he is going to have the opportunity to make some good money.

People forget, when Ryan Brewer graduated and came home after tryouts he started a fencing company. He's made some huge money since.

Home building has been rocking ... both new and pre-owned exisiting homes these days need security systems, businesses too. And then, once installed, the real money is in residuals from the monthly monitoring fees. It adds up over time. I know a guy in Edgefield who gets a check for about $20k a month just off of residuals and he's still installing new systems from Barnwell to Aiken to Edgefield and everywhere in between.

Anyways, I'm not sold on this being what Connor is into, but I'll find out for sure. Will do business with him if possible.

My home town. I can see why security systems would sell well there. Used to be one of those idyllic small towns but it's gone to hell in a hand basket.
