nb4 "if?"
Sept. 1 AUSTIN PEAY
Sept. 8 at South Carolina
Sept. 15 MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE
Sept. 22 at Missouri
Sept. 29 TENNESSEE
Oct. 6 VANDERBILT
Oct. 13 at LSU
BYE
Oct. 27 Florida (Jacksonville)
Nov. 3 at Kentucky
Nov. 10 AUBURN
Nov. 17 MASSACHUSETTS
Nov. 24 GEORGIA TECH
Not exactly a gauntlet. Biggest road test after the South Carolina game is @LSU, which while it won't be a cakewalk for UGA, Georgia is definitely the better team. Then it's Auburn at home.
Even if we somehow pulled off the upset, I guarandamntee you they would still go to Atlanta because we lost some POS games we shouldn't have. But anyways, I'm gonna say true

F
If we lose to SC, we'll almost certainly lose to either LSU or Auburn. Probably looking at 10-2 best case, which might still win the East.

Not true. Very inexperienced back 7 for UGA could have them easily losng to any SEC team on the road.

I want to believe we can beat UGA. I REALLY do.
And I still feel like even with O we have a better chance of doing it in Tiger Stadium than South Carolina does in Williams-Bryce (Has UGA lost to S.C. since it stopped being a Richt vs. Spurrier matchup?).
But you gotta circle Auburn as their toughest game either way, even if it is between the hedges.

They aren't coming to the COCK PIT and beating us.
So this scenario is invalid!

It's just time for some reality checks, that's all

This is probably one of the more normal offseason threads.

What in the OP is in need of a reality check?

LSU, Florida, Auburn are capable of beating UGA

I’m not sold on Florida. Not this year.

I worry a bit over both South Carolina and lSU, and even Missouri a little. But I am a worrier at heart.
I do believe South Carolina and LSU have really good shots at winning, though. I wouldn't count either of those out.
Of course, Auburn at home gives us the advantage, but I always worry about Auburn, too. They proved last year they can play with anybody and win. Those are the three key games, imo. (SC,LSU, AU)

Sure LSU can beat us. Good talent. At LSU. If Burrow works out LSU can beat anybody.

While I tend to agree, I think things change drastically if Burrow does well for LSU. Then all three of those games could be really tough.

Go into more detail about what you mean. It might start some interesting conversation.
Bit if you are saying South carolina has no shot, then I would fall on the other end of thta argument with you. I remember the tough games we play at South Carolina. I get that Spurrier is not there, but Muschamp has recruited very well, especially across the DLine, and he is a defensive guru. (I hate that word, guru, but it is true) You keep a game close into the 4th quarter and a turnover or break could change the outcome of a game.

This one I would disagree with. not this year. I mean....could they? Any team could, but I just think Florida is a couple of years away.
