well I could probably have crafted a defensive scheme to combat an ineffective QB and a whole lot of toss dives up the middle so I'd say that has a lot to do with it

Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois all dump their shite in the Mississippi. The cumulative effect kills the Tigers.

Bad troll.

LINK

Even throwing in the Troy and ND losses, LSU has the best inter-conference record over the last 20 years of any Power 5 Team that has played a meaningful number of inter-conference games.

Coaching + Quarterback play.

Wisconsin was arguably better both games. I'm fine with admitting that. Melvin Gordon broke a foot off in our arse and thankfully their dumbass coach stopped giving him the ball in the second half. They were definitely better than LSU in the second game. Their defense destroyed us.

Notre Dame...ehh...LSU "should have" won both and appeared to be the better team, but props to ND for pulling them out. At best, the two were dead even.

2016 Wisconsin was a really good team. They were grossly underrated in the preseason
