remember after year one Everyone was saying Kirby was in over his head He was just another Saban disciple who wasn’t going to make it. Now after the second year he’s a top three Coach now. What a difference one year makes

It’s not saying he’s a top 3 coach. It’s saying we’re a top 3 job.

LSU was usually higher on these lists before we hired Orgeron.

Sounded more like the writer had LSU lower than usual due to the pressures from the fans.

Read an article that gave Gary Dinardo a alot of credit
for LSU's in state recruiting success with Saban and Miles.Said he visited every single HS in the state when he got the job and developed the current pipeline.

Was a really good recruiter. We had top 15/20 talent under him and getting Kevin Faulk was the big game changer.

He just ruined himself with loyalty to Lou Tepper.

Now that the pipeline is there and LSU is such a nationally known brand, we should always have talent. Period.

Dinardo deserves more credit than he usually gets. He did a great job of keeping homegrown talent home. He just couldn't put the talent he had to good use. Dinardo absolutely paved the way for Saban to hit the ground running (and probably for Saban to even be interested in LSU).
