Now, this ranking is kinda deceptive since some teams have more commits than others. Better metric is Average composite score per commit.
1. Georgia - 95.7 with 8 commits(this is an insane average, can't possibly maintain this with a full class, I hope)
2. Alabama -93.76 with 15 commits (this is also an insane average, especially with 15 committed already. And they show no signs of slowing down at all)
POWER GAP
3. Texas A&M- 90.02 with 16 commits ( even though they are slightly behind Tennessee on average composite score, they get the edge because of 6 more commits)
4. Tennessee- 90.35 with 10 commits (doing much better than I thought they would, and could see a spike in the average composite score soon with a couple rumored silents going public)
5. South Carolina- 89.02 with 15 commits (great job so far, think they get a nice bump if they land Phillips or Mccollough. Behind Auburn in average composite score, but again get the edge because of 6 more commits)
6. Auburn- 89.77 with 9 commits (doing fine, and will get a huge bump if Booth commits)
7. LSU - 88.53 with 12 commits(Hard to tell where they're gonna go from here, have a few big names trending their way, but a subpar season could send them elsewhere, of course if they fire Orgeron and hire Kiffin, we're all fricked)
8. Mississippi State- 88.44 with 13 commits (great average for MSU, let's see if maintain this momentum)
9-14. Slaw, get your shite together. Especially you Florida, Good God

No real way to maintain a 95 unless about half your class is Top 100 recruits. Just not enough prospects left on our board unless we jump in on some guys or get someone like Pappoe back in the fold which is unlikely. Still have Nakobe Dean and a few others we are in on but odds are we end up closer to 92/93 ish which is still good but not insane. Should end up with a Top 5 class nationally. Would be surprised if we even sniff Bama this year. They are recruiting lights out.

Happy with where AU sits right now but there are some really important battles need to win this summer starting with Andrew Booth. I think good chance we get Jashawn Sheffield on board this weekend & are probably team to beat for both Keiondre Jones & Colby Wooden
But guys like Noah Cain, Jalen Curry, Trezman Marshall, William Putnam, Jaren Handy, Charles Moore, Justin Eboigbe & Derick Hall are key if AU wants to challenge for a top 5 class. Doing a much better job this year of being in on these top guys earlier but need to see us finish for it to really matter. Especially with the ridiculous classes Bama & UGA are going to sign
I have absolutely 0 idea who we sign at OT tho

If Curry leaves Texas, he's going to Knoxville

He's got a soft spot for us cuz we were the first to offer

But ya I think he ends up at Tennessee right now

I think landing Morris helps us tremendously with Curry and Bogle. Bogle I think is already a silent and was gonna go public with Beasley last week but momma told him to wait.

I forget sometimes Bogle isn't already a UT commit

Should be a decent bit higher because a kicker AND long snapper are dragging that average down a bit.
Next week Stingley will commit to us. Will push us up to 208.68 points and make that average go up a bit. The average would be .9178 taking out the kicker and snapper + Stingley

Average can be deceiving a bit when you have kickers committed. Just saying.

Especially in June. Doesn't composite only score the top 20 players? Usually the score works itself out by NSD unless you have a really small class.

Also, just checked your commits, holy shite, you have that score with 15 commits, one of which is a .82 kicker?
Saban is not fricking around. That is terrifying.

Probably going to get better.

A&M has a .79 kicker who is killing our average. I think we’d be at about a 91 average without him.

Didn't realize that, but you're still 3rd place either way.

Everyone’s kind of wondering how many we will actually take. This should be a big class though.
Looking like we will add some DBs here soon and I think some of our guys will see some nice rankings bumps at the end of the summer. I was hoping we would get a top 5 class but it may end up being more like 7 or 8

Probably. I think it's a Bama/VOL battle for Wright. Don't think we're in direct competition for any other targets right now.
Nice to compete for guys Bama wants again. Been awhile.

I'm still salty about that one. But I get it, Georgia kid commits to a National title contender. We weren't even in the conversation until 3 weeks before NSD, but at least Peterson didn't flip.
Thank God
