Realistically, killing a random and getting away with it would probably be very easy - assuming no witnesses. Reckon?

One of my favorite genres of TV shows is forensics. I am amazed how many murderers keep the clothes, shoes, weapons and other paraphenalia of their acts. I'm sure there are some savvy killers who get away with murder because they're smart enough to eliminate evidence, but dumb ones seem to dominate the statistics.

One thing forensic shows tend to get right is that killers do tend to hang onto evidence in real life. Or throw it away somewhere stupid.
95% of solving crimes is waiting for the criminal to do something dumb.
