I respect Bama, and I admire Saban's unwavering committment to the process of excellence. How can you not. What he has done there is pretty unbelievable. Many of their fans are completely insane as evidence by all the murders, tree killing, tea bagging, but most of their true alums I can deal with and I get along well with them.

UGA not so much. They have by far more natural resources, more talent nearby, less in-state competitors than any program in the history of college football. Unlike most schools, their alums are actually worse than their sidewalk fans. They have this weird false sense of entitlement, a toxic combination of vainglorious ego and lack of self-awareness that makes it impossible to have a rational conversation. It's funny because their alums don't routinely do anything particularly noteworthy.

I respect LSU but even though we've duked it out, we're not really "rivals" in the truest sense. Their alums for the most part are a lot of fun, and they are good natured.

Florida and Tennessee are traditional rivals I respect and wish we played every year. I miss going to those campuses.
