Just saw where she is in the hospital ... I really like her. She's a Gamecock to her core. I hope she gets better, and out of the hospital, soon. Hopefully she'll post an update here and let us know how she is doing.

Y'all I am in the hospital as an inpatient after having 6 massive seizures in a row. Y'all's thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated right now. ??????

Thx for the update

If anyone can figure out which hospital, maybe we could arrange to send flowers?

Thanks for the thoughts, y'all! I'm still in the hospital...sucks being on this side of the job...looks like I'll be here atleast a couple more days. The diagnosis? Epilepsy. Yay me! frick my life. There goes driving for a substantial amount of time. Sucks arse. Guess I need to remember that it could be far, far worse.

Well damn.

Guess you're going to have to stay out of discos from here on out. No more strobe light flashlights for self defense. Be careful of the blinking banner adds on the bottom of mobi pages and definitely don't look at any whirling hypnothingies Ange.

Get well soon!

I'm sorry to hear about the seizures and potential Epilepsy but I hope you feel better and are able to control the condition (to the extent that's possible? I'm really ignorant of it) in the future.

Damn, I bet it is PTSD from being married to a Tater. Need to take care of yourself woman. On a side note, these new video boards at stadiums give me a headache, can they affect your condition?

Wouldn't doubt it. Thank God I saw the light and divorced him.

I did get to come home today. All totalled, I ended up having 16 seizures from the 30th until the day before yesterday. Bruises everywhere from the initial seizure that caused me to fall down a flight of stairs, I'm exhausted from the seizures and my muscles feel like I spent the last 5 days lifting weights 24/7. Very, very glad to be home at last, tho.

My late sister had that pop up out of nowhere when she was in her early teens. Fortunately the new medications they have for it are quite effective in helping to control episodes. The good news is that South Carolina has great health care so you'll be in good hands.

Any updates? You're back at home and you are probably feeling more settled now. Are you having trouble with seizures still or has medication managed to control the problem for you?

So far, so good! No more since I got home and hopefully it stays that way. They have me on Lamictal twice a day and it seems to be working and it has zero side effects with me.

Damn, glad you're ok. Sorry to hear the diagnosis but its fairly manageable these days. My brother has it and can go months between seizures as long as he remembers to take his meds.

We can carry on. No special treatment bc I'm a female, bc of seizures...none, for any reason. Ever. It's for your own good...you go getting all nicey nicey and I will attack. Easy prey.
