ETA the summer of 2000 I worked at the Town Center Philly Connection. If a white guy cooked a cheesesteak for you that summer, it was me.

Did you sell weed out of that PC? I feel like every Philly Connection was just a front for one of the biggest weed operations in the US. If your dealer was dry, just go get a cheesesteak sub with “extra oregano... a quarter ounce of oregano.”
