It's mind boggling that people think the only reason anybody would sign with Bama is because they're paid. Every other school has a better pitch than "Come play for the greatest coach of all time, be in the playoffs every season, and go to the NFL"... right?
If Bama is the only team paying these kids, they'd win every game by 80 because they'd just sign everybody.

Um, didn’t Bama sign the #1 class almost every year for a decade? On the backs of a 7-6 season and a loss to ULM?
