He went to Michigan, so whether he plays this year or not will have no impact on OM's season. Smart move for OM would have been to simply not comment at all and let the NCAA do whatever they wished.

Lied to by Harbaw.
Shea is going to say whatever Mars wants him to say. He has to jump the hurdle of "being misled" to get immediate eligibility waiver. He doesn't want to go somewhere and sit while another QB secures the position. He already lost control of the position at his initial school.
Both sides doing what they need to do to preserve the best outcome for themselves.

I completely understand why you feel that way and I can't say I blame you. My only point is that you're going to heal a lot faster if you stop picking at the scab.
