Hard to blame Darious for moving on but those around him having expectations of a one and done were a bit extreme.

Penny will be the downfall of Mike's career. Mike had it easy but Penny will outwork him and is more connected to the AAU circuit. Darius Hall will look good in that Memphis blue.

We can only hope if it speeds up the apathy process. Penny has great group of top players in Memphis to start with.

At least it says a lot about the incoming freshman, both of them were afraid they weren't gonna start that's why they're leaving.

He's gonna be a thorn in a lot of people's side until they get busted for recruiting violations in a few years.

True, Hall wasn't going to start again next year once Gafford announced he was returning. He's unfortunately in that awkward spot where 6'6 is too small to play the 4, and he doesn't shoot well enough yet nor is he good enough offensively to play the 3.
But that's why he was a low rated recruit, all about potential and he definitely showed flashes.
Acting like it's some devasting blow is a little extreme though.

Maybe but not necessarily. CJ should’ve never been at this level. He was a reach after decommiting from Chattanooga. Hall had more expectations for his freshman year and people in his ear and decided over spring break he wanted out.

Keep downplaying the significance. He was only the second best returning player we had and similar freshman numbers to Qualls.

Yes, the #1 player in the State and a 4 star versus the #4 and a mid 3 star. What a shocker that would be.
