Heard it from a reliable source that MPJ met with an agent today. That combined with Gabe’s Power Mizzou post on him hearing rumblings he’s gone, I’d say it’s happening. :(

After Jesus and Tiger’s (who has been posting tons of MPJ returning scenarios) comments, I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic.

Was hoping it was fake news, but the fella is in the know. He’s one of Gabe’s sources. We obviously anticipated MPJ leaving, but apparently the Spurs are pretty interested in Jontay with their first pick.

Same source said Jontay is 100% gone if he projects anywhere in the first round after he tests the waters.

Well we had our year with the Porters. Back to reality. With
senior going hopefully none of Jontey's 22 younger brothers are any good

Cuonzo has navigated that borderline disaster remarkably well.

I agree. If he’s going, he’s making a mistake.

Opens up another scholarship for Cuonzo. Jontay leaving isn't the end of the world, Puryear will need to step up and actually be the senior leader this team needs.

Ramey/Pinson
Watson/Geist
Santos
Puryear
Tilmon

Need a grad transfer on the wing and down low.

List of the current NBA Mock Drafts, Jontay leaves if he's a 25+ pick?

I mean in that range you're just as likely not to be drafted in the first round.

Makes more sense to come back and be a top 10 pick next year right? Way more money.

Maybe just take the best 3 available players. Santos is big enough that he could be used as a stretch 4, if 3 good perimeter players are added.

Who scores for you then?

This team does not have a 15 ppg player on the roster.

Lost Barnett and Robertson who contributed 50% of the teams points most nights. Replacing them with just Freshman isn't going to get us anywhere.

I don't have an issue with Geist/Ramey/Pinson running the point.

But until I see Santos put up 20 points in a game(he averaged 7 ppg at Chicago btw), I'm not a true believer he can carry this team on the wing.

Where does the Santos hype even come from? No one has seen him play as a Tiger.

If Jontay leaves you are now missing 60-70% of your points from last year.

If Jontay leaves we are in big trouble, no doubt.

Score by committee. Gonzaga had 7 players score between 8 and 13.5 per game.
How does that like an k for Mizzou
Tilmon 14
Grad transfer 10
Santos 10
Juco wing 9
Ramey 9
Puryear 8
Watson 7
Geist and the the rest fill out with another 5-10 points.

Sorry wu

can't spin losing both porters as no big deal.

Your make believe rosters never seem to come close to reality anyway.

Jontay needs one more year.

If he stays we're fine. If not we take a step back.
