Documents exchanged between UA and Parks and Tourism Department officials last year revealed that up to $10 million in improvements are necessary for War Memorial to continue to have Razorback games. These changes would be for fans, TV partners and to meet anticipated changes in requirements from the Southeastern Conference, according to previous reporting from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
The $17 million noted in the study does not include requirements to meet Southeastern Conference standards.

We should start playing ASU there every season and let them pony up 1/4 the cost to upgrade. We cover the other 1/4 and let the state pony up the other half.
Or use the pot tax revenue to fix it.
Or burn it down.

I don't think old crumbling concrete burns very well

While they didn't get off to a dynamite start, I believe they finished about a month ahead of schedule. Those dudes got a bonus!

The Fayetteville program should just stay away, Central Arkansa doesn’t need to subsidize that mediocre program anymore.
Plenty more programs that are growing, built around success on the field

I'm as southern Ark as it gets, and have gone to twice as many games at WM than I have Fayetteville...but if the school and/or the public dumps $17 million dollars into that piece of shite Stadium, then then the entire board needs to be canned. Take the money and throw a glass facade on Reynolds over he exposed walkways, or put fricking waterfalls and go carts in the football center or renovate Bud Walton ...anything but dumping good money into bad property

She may be old and crumbling but she still gets louder than DWRRS

Personally I’d rather the Razorbacks stay out of central Arkansas. War Memorial is still great for a lot of things. Concerts (like the Guns N Roses concert from last year), minor league soccer, state high school championships, the occasional college game (except for the UofA), and it will likely soon be home for UALR. I really don’t want the U of A at War Memorial and I think a lot of people are to that point.

It once did but that definitely won’t be the case any longer in about 6 months.
