I came across the below picture while on the Gamecocks facilities site, and maybe scrooster is the only one who can answer this. What gets played on those TVs? Just replays of wins?
Would be interested to know.

probably music videos or ESPN....likely replays of wins or highlights when a visitor is on campus

I actually got to tour the weight room and locker room towards the end of last summer, and the TV’s had some summer weight records that were on replay, different position groups, strongest guy from each, etc. They also had the music going and highlights on other TV’s. Only a few guys were in there working out when we toured it, but Dillman and Lawson showed us around.

Yep ... that's pretty-much it. All sorts of stuff gets shown on those TVs. I've been in there when they had MTV playing and at other times they're showing motivational stuff or lifting records or Gamecock related videos of all kinds.
Sometimes, when no one is in there but Dillman and maybe a couple of the coaches, they'll have the news on or SEC Network or ESPN.
I've actually seen them have the SEC Network on in there when players are lifting but I can't say I can recall ever seeing ESPN on when players are lifting.
More often than not it's Gamecock highlights and other related stuff. Our video department has become andynamic addition to the program ... they turn-out a lot of custom stuff these days.
It brings up an interesting point.
It is absolutely mind boggling, I mean truly amazing, how much ... how many things have changed, since mUSChamp arrived.
I remember when Brad Scott was fired and Holtz took over how much the culture changed ... it was drastic at the time, it really was.
But then Spurrier came-in and that change, that uptick and enthusiasm and money-giving change ... it was even more drastic. Like night and day. I mean really big leaps were made in terms of culture and organization under Spurrier.
With all of that said we've never experienced anything like what we are witnessing and realizing under Boom. It is absolutely fascinating to watch, to witness, as an older fan who remembers like yesterday when we made the first big time national news hire by hiring Paul Dietzel who had won a NC at LSU.
Coach Dietzel was the first to make facilities a top priority and he ran a tight ship having come from LSU and then Army.
Then came Carlin who was a really hot commodity having worked under Bowden at West Virginia.
Richard Bell was a good guy but completely temporary.
Joe Morrison was a huge hire ... nationally recognized, Frank Gifford used to help us recruit on Monday Night Football when MNF was a really big deal with Howard and Dandy Don.
Then came the SI Tommy Chaikin hit piece and we took a step back ... Joe Mo died and we hired Sparky. A bad hire but a good guy.
Brad Scott was coming off a NC at FSU, was their OC and QB coach who had just coached a Heisman winner in Charlie Ward. Not only that but he was hired before they played the NC game and we got all kinds of press. Not only that but he had been responsible for recruiting the state of SC while at FSU and had taken the Boulware brothers, Kevin Long, Gideon Brown and many others out of this state .... but boy oh boy what a fricking disaster. Bottom line is that he was a lying sack of shite total scumbag snake oil salesmen. What a fricking Fat Bradstard POS he turned-out to be. If I outlive him I will spit on his grave and soak it in afterwards with a follow-up piss.
frick Brad Scott.
But Holtz, thanks to Mike McGee, saved us and God Bless boh of those men. I think I will write to both of them next week when I have some time.
Then came the HBC and it finally started happening.
I know I was against mUSChamp at first, blinded by the obvious and not really looking at the whole picture ... had gotten the bad news about Herman before we even locked-up the Cockaboose the jight after the Citadel loss (which we should all be thankful for in retrospect).
Then it was Kirby ... but some of us expected UGA to act quickly, and they did. Good for them ... and good for us because I am convinced the Good Lord was looking out for us.
We landed the right man I think, I really do. The change is just unbelievable. How he is running things, I was not a fan but he's softened-up some with everyone, turned into a bit more of a people person without losing his drive ... I hope it works out for him here and for a really long time to come. I really hope he takes us to the promised land.
Apologies in advance for any fat finger faux pas in this too long of a TL;DR post.
