As a relatively young basketball fan (only really followed since Bruce came), this whole “share” of a title irks me. We beat TN head to head. They can “share” their second place conference finish in their own locker room, thank you.

Why do the bottom seeds in the SEC Tournament feed into the brackets with the 3 and 4 seeds instead of the 1 and 2 seeds?

The SEC tournament determines who gets the automatic bid from the SEC for the Big Dance. The SEC season determines the SEC champion.
