If we get hit for $6115 while UNC had fake classes for 10 years and received nothing, I'll burn that mother to the ground.

The $6115 is all that they could prove so far. Once they open the investigation we will end up vacating the final four season as a self punishment.

Did anyone hear the guy who called in around 8:05 or so this morning on the Early Game? He claimed that his cousin is an agent in ATL, and that this is just the tip of the ice berg as far as what will be discovered with us and other programs. I don't know how valid the guy is, but Tim and Bill just sort of sat there and let him ramble for about five minutes about it, and neither of them had much to say when he was done.

That guy is probably full of shite but the story he's making up isn't. Definitely just the tip exposed right now

If that's the only thing that happens.

I see that as a slap on the wrist to be honest.

What else can they do to us...we didn't pay him to come here and agent paid him in hopes to sign him when he declared and failed...the university is innocent and a victim of the crimes. Worst we did was unknowingly play an ineligible player.

But can they still vacate that? Can ignorance actually protect the final 4? Lord knows the NCAA is arbitrary when it comes to punishments.

Scholarship reduction, multiple season post season bans and probation (meaning anything even stupid like putting too much peanut butter on a bagel will give us more of a punishment because we are on probation)

He received a benefit during the season, that would then make him ineligible?

Right?

Yep. Worst case scenario is that they decided to string y'all up to show everyone how serious they are while they look the other way at schools like North Carolina cheating.

Its going to get ugly for the NCAA. College basketball pretty well pays the bills for that organization thanks to March Madness. If they drop the hammer on a lot of top teams then the ratings are going to go in the toilet.

Which is why this is too widespread for them to do anything...ig they punish us and others and ignore the bluebloods then..the appeal process will bring them to the knees...

He sounded full of shite, but it was a weird call. He almost slipped up and stated who his cousin was, but he refrained.

Which I don't think they will.

They'll make everyone vacate wins from the players that played. Deem anyone still playing as ineligible, and if any coach is actually associated they will give them a show cause penalty.

I really don't see that as an issue or a bad punishment.

The real punishment to me would be making us payback TV money or shite that we got from the SECN.

Is this a big deal because it's cheating? Yea.
But I already have no morals so I don't see anything wrong with it. I'm fine when teams cheat, prefer them to. I want us to be a big boy, we need to.
We have all that cash, whats the use of having it and not spending it? oh wait we have to use it to buy a Sand Volleyball team.

Everyone says they know a guy ahha.

What I wanna know is, if these guys are getting this amount (which is not a lot at all that shocks me)

Ignorance has been used as a defense before in NCAA cases.

36 schools wrapped up in this so far (including Clempson).

No way the NCAA can shut down that many programs.
