But too bad for y'all Sefton is going to declare for the draft, which will set y'all back as far as building experience and chemistry as a team.

Him being yalls PG means it'll mess up the chemistry more than any other position too.
Pearl's decision to start Jared Harper over Ronnie Johnson right out of rhe gate last year is paying hige dividends this season IMO. Ronnie Johnson was a grad transfer from Purdue with tons of high level P5 starting experience, a very talented and good PG. Ronnie Johnson honestly was probably one of the best PGs Auburn has had in the last decade, but making Harper the guy built tons of chemistry for us as a whole team, and it allowed Harper to build the confidence, and become the floor general and team leader that a PG needs to be to have an elite team.

Who will even be yalls PG next season without Sexton? Avery Jr?

Avery Jr will be done after this year

as far as who's playing point, it's up in the air. Dazon could fill a bigger role.

I'm really liking the development by Reese and Herb. Herb is up and down, but the guy is really great on d and can be a spark plug.

Our team is on the uptrend compared to the past couple of years, again comparing yourself to the best Auburn team in the past 20 years is the wrong way to look at it

this is an Alabama team that can end the tournament drought and a lot of young players are getting minutes

Are saying that you think Alex Reese might play some PG next season?
I thought Herb Jones was an interesting option as a 6'7" SG, and you know Bama better than I do so want argue with you, but playing the 6'10" 240 PF Alex Reese at PG just doesn't seem like a great idea

I remember 2 years ago when like tonight Auburn was down to only 7 scholarship players for the last few weeks of SEC play, but our roster was much much much kess talented than it is this year, almost no guard talent to speak of, and we were actually forced to give Cinmeon Bowers minutes at PG in several games. If you don't remember Bowers, he was a chubby 6'8" 280 pound center who was a beast in the paint, but had very little outside game to speak of. As you can imagine, it was a disaster

To be fair, 1999 was only 19 years ago and that team had a better record and higher ranking at this point. That team also had a 7 foot tall center that was a 1st round NBA draft pick, and I was in elementary school at the time so my memory is hazy, but I doubt the 99 team was ever as thin depth wise as we are right now.
