For the most part you can compare college baseball fan interest in any given season to how well the football team did in the same year and you will see that they are in reverse co-dependence of one another. In other words, LSU fans are going to love their baseball team this year.

LSU has been leading in college baseball attendance for 22 consecutive years.
In other words, LSU fans have loved college baseball when LSU football was really really good, or really really bad.
