Which SEC school makes the College Football Playoff next besides the two schools that have already made it?
Also, what year?
I think is Auburn, but it will take at least two more seasons. I think next year Auburn has to rebuild their O line and not sure their RBs will be where they were last yeat. DLine and WRs will be good.
If Stidham is back in 2019, it would be interesting because they get UGA and BAMA at home.

I think you're right that the OL will struggle, but I think by the end of the year it'll be fine.
At RB, I don't know who it will be but I feel confident that a 1000 yard rusher will step up. We've had one rhe last 10 consecutive seasons.
I think both of those units will benefit from Stidham and the entire very talented WR corps returning. That'll help take pressure off the run game, and I think that especially in the first half of the season while the OL and RBs are gaining experience you'll see Auburn lean more on the pass game than you've seen with Malzahn at Auburn before.
The whole front 7 will be good, not just the DL. The CBs will be very good too, Jamel Dean actually graded as our best player last season by PFF and Javaris Davis is very good and experienced. Really the only question on defense is safety. We lost our top 3. But I'm really looking forward to our two true freshmen (both early enrollees) Monday and Sherwood playing. I think they both start, and Idk how good they be immediately, but by the end of the career I think those two can be one of if not the best safety duo in the SEC. I'm really excited about them.

Wonder why everyone else on this board is talking about basketball during basketball season except UGA
Oh wait, I know why. It’s because you suck.

You are shocked that people are more passionate about football than basketball?
You must be a virgin. You haven't experienced anything in this world.

I don't care about the other teams. I just know we will be there being the undefeated #1 seed. I think you should get yourself ready for some disappointment. Geogia will flop this year. At first I was thinking that you would win the east and loose to us in the SEC CG. But the more and more I think about it Georgia will be 4-4. You will loose to South Carolina, Mizzou, LSU and Auburn.

No way that happens. We are rebuilding our secondary just like BAMA. We are rebuilding LBs with many guys with experience. DL will be better than last year. By the end of the year, the D will be stellar. In O the only significant loses we had was RB. That will never be an issue at UGA, never. We will see BAMA in Atlanta.

1. Auburn
2. Florida
3. LSU
In that order I'd say.

I trust Mullen more than O, so you are probably right. Auburn is always a solid team that can be really good some years. I am sure Mullenwill have Florida playing like we are used to. I would like to see Muschamp or Pruitt getting their teams back up as well to help balance the East and West. Muschamp is in the way, but I think both schools are playoff contenders quite yet.

Statements like this is how I know Georgia will fall flat on there face. You had 1 year where you had a once in a lifetime year and now you compairing yourself to us. We spotted you a half before we put Tua in. What would a the score been if Tua started the game. A blowout. And if Coach Saban woulda been starting Tua half way into the season we don't loose to Auburn and we whip your arse in Atlanta and you don't even get into the playoffs with 2 losses. That is the difference between Bama and Georgia. Coach makes the biggest mistake a his career and we still win the title. You get gifted a spot in the playoffs and you come in 2nd. Congrats on the great season and enjoy it cause it won't happen again next year. You would finish 4th in the west.

We game plan for a QB with a better arm, and focus more on his strengths as opposed to just selling out to stop the run against Hurts. Tua "lighting us up" was him getting two touchdown passes in regulation (one which was gifted by a no call false start on 4th down).

So how the fans feel about the program is inversely indicative of how they will perform? That's some weird logic and I'm not sure it works out.

I'd say the comparison was that we're following the Alabama model of rebuilding, not that we are currently rebuilding like Alabama can. Kirby knows the Bama model inside and out and it's only natural he brought it over to Athens.

I believe we won the games to earn our playoff spot. If we're talking about getting gifted a playoff spot I know a team about 4-5 hours away who is still thanking the CFB gods.
I know it's scary. Saban getting old and all. Kirby starting to show signs that he wasn't just some "yes man" at Alabama riding on the coattails of Saban. It's ok man. You still have all those Saban titles, and maybe 1 or 2 down the road. Georgia is allowed to step up and try to make things interesting.

I'm not sure we'll ever make it playing in this conference. If the dynamics of the divisions were to drastically change, maybe some day. Yes, I'm aware that I'm Mr. Doom & Gloom right now, but honestly, looking at the coaching staff, and the latest recruiting class, I'm less than impressed.

If you don't see us in Atlanta, don't sweat it because we'll meet in the playoffs.

No offense but I think they whip you this coming year. Mullins aint no miracle worker. It will take him a couple a years. Mac let the talent level get to low. You lost to O in your home back yard of the swamp this past year.
