Are LSU and A&M officially a rivalry yet?

The majority of LSU fans are too obsessed with Alabama to consider having another rival.

LSU posters start 100 threads on the rant about A&M every time they beat A&M in football or sweep them in basketball, so I'd say yeah

They're a rival bc of the proximity and being close to Houston, where LSU has a strong presence. Theyre as close to us as ole miss and state are, but they have been more competitive on the field in our series against them than either of the ms schools and we have alot of louisiana transplants in texas due to the oil industry, even more since katrina, and our fanbases interact more than the ms schools do with us. Our fans and a&m fans are around each other a lot and we recruit against them for the same talent a lot in texas. I guess they're our rivals, but they haven't beaten LSU in a very long time. They have some work to do to gain serious rivalry status though.

LSU's biggest rivals are literacy, complex thought, saying remotely relevant, and that other thing that gets you banned.
If LSU is ever able to topple those monsters, then yes, Aggie would be their primary rival.

I'm just going off how many threads on here devolve into LSU and A&M slap fighting each other. Feels like a rivalry. LSU needs a rival, they don't have one.

I agree, you sure don't act like you want it on the field lol. Then again, you run away from every daddy you've ever had, so why expect for a&m to stay and be the child in this series?

Also, I can assure you, that aggie football is a joke and its Texas A&M, not aTm..

yes. no one wants to be rivals with lsu and no one like a&m. they deserve each other.
