So wait, which one is it? Are we used to getting blue chippers or are we used to WAOM?

And getting the death penalty would be dumb. I’m not sure any school ever actually stops cheating, even schools like Bama that ostensibly don’t have to pay kids to get to campus (but I’m sure they get paid plenty once they’re there), so I’m not worried about the “efforts” there so to say, but I’ll be mad if we’re as sloppy as we were the first go ‘round.

A lot of these in-state kids won’t end up in the class unless we frick up elsewhere, but we’re gonna frick up somewhere, probably at RB or LB because it’s always RB & LB, and some will be in the class. There’s 8-10 months between now and the two signing periods, and so, so much will change between now and then. Who knows, some of these in-state diamonds we’ve been mining lately might grow into 4*s or something, but I’m not gonna read anything into the current #1 ranking, which is a paper tiger if I’ve ever seen one, but I’m also not going to sit here and bitch and moan less than a week after getting yet another 4* QB and the #2 in-state guy who had previously been committed to Moo U. Granted, if history has taught us anything, Black is just a sleeper cell who will end up in Starkville once the check clears/they get him qualified (assuming he’s even a grade risk, as that’s always the go-to excuse from the fanbase of a jilted school)

Our top two recruits probably won't even make it to campus even if they stay committed

And if you are happy with that then that's sad. Clemson was used to mediocrity until they finally demanded more. For some reason the Ole Miss fanbase is ok with being mediocre and it is pathetic
