Sounds like nothing but bad news today heading into ESD tomorrow. Having flashbacks of last year. How is it that Saban could possibly limp to the finish line in back to back years after going out and hiring a young, recruiting staff specifically so it didn't happen again?

Probably bc that young staff has gone out and pretty much wrapped up this class early so we are not holding the bag like last year . I think they have done just fine

Last year we were stressing whether we would even have a class at this time, this time we have the number 1 class already and it's all gravy from here.

I agree, we've done much better this year leading up to ESD. I'm talking about whiffing on most the big names announcing on ESD. Looks like it will be two years in a row we miss on most the studs we are in on. Webb and Thibs already. Now looks like Dean and Sanders are gone. Just hope we can land Neal and the rest of our current commits, I guess.

Then push hard for Sopsher and Toto in February and try to pick up a back-up plan RB for the 2nd year in a row. Yippee. Sorry, it's just disappointing when just a few weeks ago we were considered the leader for most all those guys.
