We do need to reload.. we really need that Alpha LBer that will plug the run bad. We have some good ones coming in.. really excited about this class. UGA is young and will be back at us next year. I’m glad to have this challenge now

Hopefully we can keep Lee if/when/hopefully Locks leaves. Man Mack looks so lost i so miss Dion Hamilton and Reuben making plays in the backfield.

Steps right up into the pack and allows them to block him. Seems like our previous guys floated just outside the OL range, then shot straight into the gap they needed to. He’s blocked way too easily.

@AlabamaFTBL --

There have been 290 total plays run in Alabama & Georgia’s last 2 matchups. Alabama led for 9 of them (3%) and won both games.

Amen, brother! I kept praying and kept faith, but it also took a little help from Evan Williams to make it through the stress!

I have been saying for months we aren't taking 3 ILB.

After watching how poor Mack and Dylan played, I know I have been wrong!

We need guys who have instinct to read plays make contact behind the line of scrimmage. Not like Mack and just catch OL and RBs five yards downfield every down.

Mack needs a lot of work. So does Dylan.

Lol you guys are showing your age.

That's Pastor Troy. Cult music for high school to college from late 90s till today.

I use to listen to that album although I didn't care for "No play in GA". My favorite was "Oh Father". The intro and then the actual song would have me so emotional and pissed I wanted to destory everything.

Yeah, I hope we add Dean and To'oto'o both (along with Lee & Harris) to the class. Mack and McMillon are likely gone after this season and Moses after next season. The only other ILBs we have are Benton, Moody and Kaho. It's an injury prone position too.

Recruits react to Alabama's come-from-behind win over Georgia (BamaOnLine)

quote:

Alabama completed an exhilarating come-from-behind win over Georgia on Saturday evening in the SEC Championship, led by backup quarterback Jalen Hurts coming in for an injured Tua Tagovailoa.

It was quite the storyline considering what transpired last year at the quarterback position between the same two teams on the same field.

A number of Crimson Tide targets and commits took notice of the game and shared their thoughts with BamaOnLine:

Alabama QB commit Paul Tyson: "Thought it was a great game! Very happy for the team on winning the SEC Championship and very happy for Jalen!!!"

Four-star DL Siaki Ika: "THAT IS HOW IT'S DONE! Pure definition of how to execute."

Tide DB commit DeMarcco Hellams: "It’s never over until it’s over! And it shows the fight of the Alabama team, everyone counted us out after a 14 point deficit but it shows that as long as the people on the field believe that’ll get done by any means necessary then that’s what will happen. Also, players stepped up when their number was called."

Four-star RB Deondrick Glass: "Wym (what you mean)? They’re Bama. They always win."

UA OL commit Darrian Dalcourt: "It was a tremendous team win. To see them push through adversity was amazing to watch. This game showed why they are the best team in the country."

Four-star CB Jeffery Carter: "They kept fighting and Jalen stepped in and took over and did what he had to do and the defense turned up."

Alabama LB commit King Mwikuta: "As long as there is a moon in sky, the Tide will keep rolling."

^^ Love King's ^^ (My new sig quote)

Bama OL commit Pierce Quick: "What a freaking game, holy cow!!!! What a twist from last year."

UA DL commit Jayson Jones: "Hhooooooooooolllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. My heart is still beating hard."

Tide DB commit Malachi Moore: "I was never worried when they were down because I know they are mentally stronger than any other team they play and I knew coach Saban was going to put the team in the best situation to win."

UA TE commit Caden Clark: "I thought they trusted each other and believed they could win all the way until the end of the game even with the adversity, and that showed on that last offensive drive. Roll Tide."

Alabama OL commit Amari Kight: "Very happy for Jalen."

Tide LB commit Shane Lee: "I think that win is just a testament to the entire team and how hard they work. Them laying it on the line for each other every day translated to this game."

UA WR commit Javon Baker: "Great win but we can do better, too many mistakes but forever ROLLTIDE"

Bama DE commit Chris Braswell: "Very intense game. Great win."

Three-star WR EJ Williams: "It was a hard-fought win. Their defense and offense came back in the second half clicking."

Tide DL commit Jah-Marien Latham: "I was really worried when the game first started but I'm happy that we got the win #RollTide"

Bama QB commit Carson Beck: "When I saw Tua go out when he got hurt and Jalen came in I said that he was gonna bring the game back and win."

Three-stars WR JJ Evans: "It was crazy!! Because the way Georgia came out at the beginning I thought Georgia was going to win, but Bama pulled through at the end."

Tide WR commit John Metchie: "Lol don’t doubt the tide #rolltide"

Bama LB commit Kevin Harris: "I knew it would probably be a close game. Bama prevailed just like I expected."

Five-star RB Kendall Milton: "That was a huge win. Great to see Jalen Hurts back on the big stage."

Alabama CB commit Christian Williams: "Great win. Alabama takes pride in finishing. They're a 4th quarter team."

Tide K commit Will Reichard: "I loved it. Glad to have a win and number one spot in playoffs."

Bama LB commit Jackson Bratton: "I knew they were gonna pull it out! They are a 60-minute team for sure and I am really excited for the team and also Jalen Hurts to pull it out."

UA DB commit Brandon Turnage: “That was an amazing game. I knew it was going to go down to the wire, but that was a little scary.”

Five-star LB Sav'ell Smalls: "Even when you think they may be human they show you they really not."

Additional Twitter reactions:

Alabama DL commit Braylen Ingraham: SEC Champions #Rolltide

Tide DL commit Justin Eboigbe: Poetic Justice #RollTide

Bama RB commit Keilan Robinson: 27-2.... #RollTide

Four-star WR Traeshon Holden: Gotta play all 4 quarters wit Bama boyyyy

Reactions will be added as they come in. (read more)

You're welcome to take over for me for the next recruiting year. I can continue to maintain the 1st three posts, but I cannot continue to spend so much time everyday posting all this stuff.

I am considering retirement in the next year and would be able to assist quite a bit. I know that this takes tons of time, and would love to help.

Awesome! I'm retired, but I need to work at least part time -- I'll probably start that by early spring.

Question about the playoffs practice schedule. When Bama flies into Miami/Dallas for practice and the playoff game are recruits allowed to attend the practices? If, say, Jeudy in Miami or A'Shawn in Texas were this year's recruits are they allowed or is that considered an unfair advantage?
