How do we feel about his comments on the Mizzou/SC Women’s basketball situation?

He’s safe. This isn’t going to be a blip on the radar. It’s women’s basketball.
I also would guess he didn’t make his comments “off the cuff.” He felt comfortable in their accuracy.

I completely agree, but it was still odd to hear him call out an opposing team's coach in a media setting.
In the end, it doesn't sound like there's any audio/video of anything so it'll be impossible to prove anything either way. The larger offshoot of this is HOLY CRAP USC IS SALTY ABOUT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL. Every time Dave or Gabe post something on twitter they're absolutely inundated by crazy people from SC.

Why would he get fired? Read his comment again. It was very measured and he didn't just make it up.

I just found out this info. Our AD was there.
AD Sterk was sitting court-side with the Mizzou radio crew to his left and the high dollar ticket holders on the right, the spot where Sophie walked off the court after the scuffle. The fans were pointing at her and yelling. I'm sure he heard more than he needed to hear.
