Screw Mcgarity in the arse.Have concessions improved?Has the fan
experience improved?
The increase in revenue MORE than pays for the salary increase for asst coaches.
BTW UGA received $2,3 MILLION in travel expenses for the NC game.
Wonder how much we pocketed or how it was reported as far as revenue to the AD.

Those prices are still extremely reasonable and one of the lowest in all of the Elite programs. Also, they have made huge improvements to our facilities and the gameday experience. I hope they stay at this pricing for some time, but the market will dictate that

gameday experience.
Like what? Our concessions are still arguably the worst in the SEC even with the minimal improvments.

I have two in 331 and two in 119...
My cost per season including Hartman fund donation is going from $2550 to $3210...
And I get to see Austin Peay, UMass, MTSU, UT, Vandy, AU and the nats...
$115 per ticket, $460 per game + $45/game parking pass. Another $200/game for fuel and tailgating expenses...
$700 a game, getting expensive.

Im definitely not an establishment guy. After years of going to probably 5 games a year, I didnt go to one last year. Watched em all of course. But as long as you keep paying prices will keep going up.
And i guess im banned from games after the year we had last year sans me

Don't mind paying more as long as the product on the field remains fantastic.

See nothing wrong with it actually. Definatly looking forward to going to the games again

I haven't gone to see a game at face value since 2002 ....
i could see this price increase coupled with the inability to deduct school contributions from your taxes now as a tough cross to bear...

Real close to letting our tickets of 20 years go. The experience is terrible with amenities, bathrooms, concessions, and over lack of care to the gameday experience

I'm going to disagree. It has improved. Are there areas that are still lacking? Of course, but the UGAA seems somewhat sincere.
Things I have complained about in the past...
(1). Security officers tend to station themselves at the end of ramps. They want to watch the game. Years ago, Boy Scouts monitored this area. Now you get a scowl from an " armed to the teeth a-hole...excuse me...a properly secured and funded, well trained a-hole.
Get the frick out of the way. I paid for these tickets. Unobstructed. Go harass the tobacco users that hide in the nooks and crannies every game. My donations were not to obscure my view, they were paid to watch a football game.
Pause.

You would think that the "powers that be" would be more concerned with traffic issues, instead of terrorists.

Concessions
Bathrooms
Getting in the damn door
In that order, of Sanford shittiness.
I really didn’t realize how shitty these things were until I started to branch out to other away games and saw how smooth things went.
Sanford is hallowed ground but major improvements need to be made for the fans if they are going to start jacking ticket prices.
Alot of people may not see the issues because maybe you haven’t been to away games.

Something else I don’t understand is why even have different ticket prices game to game, you have to buy the whole set regardless.

I pay $400 to have a parking space approximately 1.5 miles from the stadium. I have a place to stay in Watkinsville after those late night games or prior to the early games.
Without those amenities, I'd stay home and watch the games on TV.

What ultimately killed it for me, the game experience, was going to a cupcake game a year or two before secnetwork and it was pay per view, and the whole game was over in about two hours. It was awesome. That’s how football is supposed to be watched.
Instead of 4 hour shite show full of commercial time outs.

So why not park in Watkinsville every game and Uber to Sanford?

Because I doubt there are many Uber Tesla drivers that have room in their trunk for chairs/tables/tents/Ice chests/grills.
Last year was great with the later than 12:30 slots dictated by TV. Great tailgates, with friends/family/students and future students.
^^^ the older I become, these hours I spend with people I know and have known for decades, makes saving money...moot.
Besides, If you Uber into a close proximity to Sanford Stadium, good luck getting out of there. ACCPD, do nothing with post game egress.

You tailgate 1.5 miles away? So you end up walking 3 miles every game day plus breaking down your tailgating set up?
Little too much work for me...LOL
