I'm going up to MEPS today enlisting tommorow if i remember how it goes correctly I'm nervous and just would like some prayers please that everything goes okay

I remember the seedy hotel they put us up in the night before we left the MEPS station almost 18 years ago. Wish I would've stayed in.

I went to MEPS in November for the reserves. What sucks is I've only been offered a few shitty jobs, that I turned down. I thought I would've already been gone for A school by now.

Best wishes. Thought about going back myself, but the thought of shaving my beard and not being able to spark up anymore quickly ends any thoughts of that
If some shite pops off, I'd walk my arse right back down to the recruiter and sign back up willingly, but nothing short of a conflict with a major power is going to get me back in uniform.

See if you can get into one of the technical skills.
A friend of mine basically had her pharmacy tech school paid for by the military, She's out now and clearing 30 grand a year with the added benefit that she can move damn near anywhere and be assured of finding a job.
